Learn how to to Perform EFT

EFT Consists of Two Basic Steps

Step 1 - The Setup

The setup is performed by tapping on the Karate Chop Point or rubbing the Sore Spot whilst quoting the setup affirmation.

You repeat the affirmation 3 times whilst tapping or rubbing.

Setup Phrase: ......Even though I have ___________, I deeply and completely accept myself

Some Example Setup Statements:
Even though I am so afraid of eating and getting fat, I love and accept myself.
Even though I have this intense war memory, I deeply and completely accept myself.
Even though I am afraid of animals, I deeply and completely love and accept myself

EFT Karate Chop Point .....

Sore Spot: .

To use the sore spot you use the finger of one hand and rub the sore spot in a circular motion - Either side is ok

You will soon know if you have found the sore spot as it will actually be sore to rub

Karate Chop: .

You use the fingers of one hand to tap on the Karate Chop Point on the other hand.

I personally prefer to use the Karate Chop Point as it easier to use and I rarely see any difference between the two point. It is safe to say that almost 99.9% of the time I only ever use the Karate Chop Point as it is easier to use

Step 2 - The Sequence

The sequence involves tapping each of the additional meridian points used in the sequence approx 7 times whilst repeating the sequence phrase.

 

For the sequence phrase of the EFT process you repeat the actual activity portion of the Setup.

These are the sequence phrases from the examples listed above:

.... "afraid of eating and getting fat "

.... "intense war memory "

.... "afraid of animals "

 

You will repeat this at every meridian point of the sequence whilst tapping the meridian point about 5-7 times.

 

 

You usually start tapping at the EB point and work down. EB, SE, UE, UN, Ch, CB, UA and back up to the H. (see diagram)

Here is the example of what was a very basic round of EFT
Setup: Whilst rubbing the sore spot or tapping the karate chop point say the following:
  Even though I am afraid of spiders, I love and accept myself
  Even though I have this intense war memory, I love and accept myself
  Even though I have this intense war memory, I love and accept myself
   
Sequence: Whilst tapping each point, approx 5-7 times repeat the following:
  EB intense war memory
  SE intense war memory
  UE intense war memory
  UN intense war memory
  Ch intense war memory
  CB intense war memory
  UA intense war memory
  H intense war memory

 

 

Please note that the above example illustrates the use of EFT in its most Basic Simplified Format.
